Meet Dr. Sharon Barber (Chapel Hill, NC)

Sharon Barber, O.D., has been providing compassionate, thorough eye care since 2013. A North Carolina native, she earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before going on to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.

Dr. Barber returned to Chapel Hill after graduation. She takes pride in building lasting relationships with her patients, taking the time to listen, explain, and tailor care to each individual's needs and lifestyle. Dr. Barber's blend of strong academic training, over a decade of clinical experience, and genuine investment in the people she serves makes her a provider patients trust and return to year after year.

When she's not in the office, you'll most likely find her on the sidelines of a soccer field, enthusiastically cheering on her kids. An avid reader, she also dedicates time to her community as an active PTA board member at her children’s school.
